Welcome to Derry, Maine….
It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real….. They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone into big world to gain success and happiness. But none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them back to Derry to face the nightmare without an end, and the evil without a name.
Wow this was one of the longest book I have read, as my first ever Stephen King book to read I so well pleased on how well his writing is all the details and descriptions of the places and people. The story line is amazing I also liked how he included background stories about the town and people really gave a better understanding on who they were and why they were the way they are. The story to me was a bit creepy and gruesome in some parts, but I didn’t find it scary! Like many others had I wish I did!!! Especially with the clown I never knew “it” had a name Pennywise! the clown! I also enjoyed the friendship’s even though they only had one reason to be friends! but they always protected each other. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the language he uses a lot of bad language so if you are sensitive to that I don’t think you’ll like this book very much!
Overall I give it a 4 out of 5 stars!
