About the book - wedding

Amy Curry is not looking forward to her summer. Her mother decided to move across the country and now it’s Amy’s responsibility to get their car from California to Connecticut. The only problem is, since her father died in a car accident, she isn’t ready to get behind the wheel. Enter Roger, an old family friend, he also has to make the cross-country trip and has plenty of baggage of his own. The road home may be unfamiliar-especially with their friendship venturing into uncharted territory-but together, Amy and Roger will figure out how to map their way.

I was really excited about reading this book because I heard a lot of good things about it. The book started off really good, but then I felt like it started to drag once they started their road trip. She would never get to the truth about why she wouldn’t drive, I felt like Amy’s character was a bit childish at times. This book was super predictable to me which I didn’t enjoy I like a bit of a twist and some surprise, the ending was not what I had wanted I was still left with some question about the both of them where their relationship would go. To me the way the book ending I was expecting a book number two!

I give this book a 2 out of 5 stars!

silver-dividerWhat I did enjoy about the book was the playlist’s, maps and pictures which made the story connect to the places they would stop along the way!
